The Evans hotel family have been in the San Diego hotel business for over 50 years and own and operate three of the most stunning hotels in the San Diego area: The Lodge at Torrey Pines in La Jolla; the Bahia Resort Hotel on Mission Bay in San Diego and the Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa also on Mission Bay in San Diego.
Even if you don’t need a place to stay overnight, each of these Evans hotels offers a San Diego kind of place to relax, grab something to eat, and toast the end of a perfect day.

Acres of gardens and grass, trees and fountains. Even Sunday outdoor organ concerts.
While most of the museums are open free one day each month, the world famous San Diego Zoo is always worth the price of admission.

Balboa Park is to San Diego as Central Park is to New York, full of gardens, museums, places to eat, fountains, outdoor art, zoo and merry-go-round.
In addition, Balboa Park has the largest outdoor pipe organ in the world and an entire Spanish Village art colony.
Balboa Park was completed in 1910 but became world famous for the 1915 Panama-California Exposition. Along with the pseudo-Spanish buildings the Exposition included an Indian village and nudist colony. (We were not as “PC” then as today)
