On Saturday September 28 from 10AM to 10PM and
on Sunday September 29 from 10AM to 7PM
The 32nd Annual Adams Avenue Street Fair will be coming to San Diego
The posters up along Adams Ave. say that the Standells (the “Godfathers of Punk Rock”) will be there along with special guest Johnny Echols. The Standells made such 60’s famous hits such as:
- “Dirty Water” (the official victory anthem of the Boston Red Sox)
- “Sometimes Good Guys Don’t Wear White”
- “Why Pick On Me”
- “Can’t Help But Love You”
For this two-day event, there will be 8 stages set up to accommodate 90 bands and musical artists.
There will be beer gardens and beer tasting, festival foods, arts & crafts as well as giant carnival rides.
